Priceless- having a value beyond all price; invaluable:
In this day and age, people are abused, bullied, ______________ (you fill in the blank). It’s sad, and it is also showing immaturity and disrespect. People label others (“the quiet one”, “the loud one”, “the trashy one”, etc.), and they shape that person in their mind with how they dress and act.
It’s not right, and it’s not pleasing in the sight of the Lord. Nobody is an accident. If you are a living human being, you were put here for a purpose…which is to do the will of God by glorifying Him. We are all made in the image of Adam because of the sin that he and Eve did in the Garden of Eden. But, because of what Jesus Christ did for us, we can choose to be “born-again” into the image of God. Glorifying Him with our every word and deed.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made by a God who loves and cares for you. Now, if you are not saved, you will experience His wrath for the actions and words you have done and said. It is your consequence for not following His perfect and divine plan. If you are saved, or if you get saved, your sins will be forgiven and you will not experience God’s wrath. You will be held accountable for your actions and words that are done in your new body though.
With all of that said, I am going to move on to why I am typing this blog. I have never been in a relationship, but I see the way that girls (or women) and guys (or men) are treated. Girls, do not change who you are in Christ for a man. A true person will love you for what is on the inside, not how you wear your makeup or the clothes you put on. He will see you as a priceless human being. I will use this example even though it was not a true story. Cinderella was not a princess, she was a servant for her step mother and step sisters. Her husband was the prince. He didn’t love her for her outward appearance, he loved her for the kindness she had in her heart. Here is an even better example. Jesus died for us, knowing that we are sinners in need of a Savior and in need of forgiveness, so He died for us. He didn’t have to. He is God, but He did it out of love because we needed a way to get back to God. I encourage you, women, men, girls, boys of all ages, to read Proverbs 31. It tells how we ought to live. The whole Bible tells how we ought to live, but that specific chapter tells us what we are to do to be a virtuous human being. Don’t change who you are if you are a born-again child of God in Jesus Christ. Change who you are if you are not living according to biblical standards. A person will love you for you. He/she will not want to change you. Then, when the right person comes, grow together in love and in unity in Christ. That is the right way to live. The way to please our Heavenly Father. You are priceless. You are loved even when nobody else loves you. Love is God, and God loves you.
